Are We Closing in on the End Times?

The Antichrist — Who Is He? Could He Be Here Now?

"Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction."

2 Thessalonians 2:3 ESV

The Antichrist: Who is he? Could he be here now?

For centuries, believers have wrestled with this question: Are we approaching the end times? Like a persistent whisper in our hearts, this wonder has followed humanity through wars, plagues, and upheavals. Now, with the military exchanges between Israel and Iran from June 12-14, 2025, that whisper has become a shout. Could the Antichrist already walk among us?

Let me share what's been laid on my heart as I've studied these recent events alongside Scripture. This isn't about fear-mongering or date-setting—it's about being the watchful servants Jesus called us to be.

The Fire in the Middle East: What Just Happened

Between June 12 and 14, 2025, something significant unfolded that made even the secular world take notice:

Israel launched "Operation Rising Lion" — a massive strike on over 200 Iranian nuclear and IRGC sites. Places like Natanz and Esfahan were hit. Senior commanders were killed. It wasn't just another skirmish; it was a decisive blow.

Iran's response was swift and severe. Hundreds of Shahed drones and Kheibar-Shekan missiles filled the skies. While Israel's Iron Dome performed admirably, some got through. Civilians in Rishon Lezion, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem paid the price. Real people. Real families. Real grief.

The world reacted predictably. Oil prices jumped 7%. The UN Security Council called emergency meetings. Turkey stepped forward as mediator, condemning Israel while offering to broker peace—a move that caught my attention for reasons I'll explain.

Brothers and sisters, these aren't just headlines. They're birth pangs. Not the final contractions, but early labor pains of what's to come.

When Scripture Meets Reality

As I prayed over these events, the Holy Spirit kept bringing me back to specific passages. Let me share what's been revealed:

Ezekiel 38-39 speaks of a coalition including Persia—modern Iran—attacking Israel in the last days under someone called Gog. Iran's strikes echo this prophecy, but notice what's missing: the full coalition hasn't formed. Russia and Turkey aren't fully engaged. We're seeing shadows, not substance. Yet.

Daniel 11:40-45 describes the "king of the North" sweeping through the Middle East. Here's what made me sit up: Turkey's positioning. Their drone technology. Their mediation efforts. Their growing influence. Could they be preparing for this role? I'm not saying they are—I'm saying we need to watch.

Daniel 9:27 tells us the Antichrist will broker a 7-year covenant with Israel. History teaches us something crucial here. Remember 1973? The Yom Kippur War led to Camp David. Conflict often precedes false peace. A larger war could set the stage for exactly such a covenant.

These events aren't fulfillments—they're preparations. Like watching storm clouds gather before the thunder.

The Shifting Sands of Power

The Holy Spirit has impressed upon me how these recent conflicts have reshuffled the deck. Here's what I see emerging:

Turkey's star is rising (35% probability in my assessment). Their mediation role, combined with drone-AI capabilities and unique position bridging NATO and Russia, puts them in a prophetically significant position. The "king of the North" may be closer than we think.

The UAE is becoming a technological powerhouse (25% probability). That U.S.-UAE AI deal isn't just about business—it's about infrastructure for control. When Revelation speaks of controlling buying and selling, this is the kind of technology that makes it possible.

Europe's influence is waning (18-20% probability). While they have the digital Euro and economic control mechanisms, other players are stealing the spotlight. Sometimes God works through the unexpected.

The Assyrian Corridor awakens (10% probability). Those missile routes from Iran aren't just military tactics—they're reopening ancient pathways of conflict.

Russia watches and waits (8% probability). Their rhetorical support without direct action suggests they're not ready for their prophetic role. Yet.

These aren't predictions—they're prayerful observations. Only God knows the full picture.

The Tools of Control Are Being Built

What chills me to the bone isn't the military conflict—it's the technology being deployed. Revelation 13:16-17 warns of a system where no one can buy or sell without the mark. Look what's emerging:

The U.S.-UAE AI Campus with 5 gigawatts of compute power. That's not just impressive—it's enough to monitor and control financial transactions across the entire Middle East. Digital IDs, payment systems, economic exclusion—all possible with this infrastructure.

Europe's Digital Euro isn't just another cryptocurrency. They're testing biometric wallets. Think about that. Your money, tied to your biology, controlled by central authorities. One switch, and you're excluded from the economy.

Turkish Drone-Swarm AI started as military technology but has surveillance applications that would make Orwell weep. A future leader could use this to enforce compliance on a scale we've never imagined.

These tools aren't inherently evil—technology rarely is. But in the wrong hands, with the wrong heart, they become instruments of the very control Revelation warns about.

Watching for the Man of Lawlessness

Who could be the Antichrist? I tread carefully here, knowing we must be wise as serpents yet gentle as doves. Here are the patterns I see:

A Turkish Strongman (Erdogan or a successor) fits the "King of the North" profile. Military might, mediation skills, and technological dominance—all present.

A Gulf Technocrat like Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed of the UAE combines AI control with financial power. The covenant-making potential is evident.

An EU Federalist (perhaps a future leader or ECB head) could revive Roman authority through digital currency enforcement.

Tech Magnates (Musk, Altman, Huang) wield influence that transcends borders. Their technological reach could enable global control.

I'm not accusing anyone—I'm observing patterns. The Antichrist will likely emerge from such profiles, but his identity remains hidden. For now.

What Should We Do?

My heart burns with urgency, but not panic. Here's what the Lord has laid on my heart for His people:

  1. Recognize we're seeing precursors, not fulfillment. Iran's actions and regional shifts are stage-setting, not the main act. A broader coalition and larger conflict must emerge first.

  2. Watch Turkey and the UAE closely. Their strategic and technological advances demand our attention. Pray for discernment.

  3. Understand the digital trap being set. AI and digital currencies are creating the very tools Revelation describes. We must be aware without being afraid.

  4. Remember Matthew 24:6—Jesus told us not to be alarmed but to stay vigilant. Keep sharing the Gospel. Time may be shorter than we think.

  5. Live like that dog in the truck bed I once wrote about—trusting our Master completely, enjoying the journey, inviting others to jump in while there's still room.

The Bottom Line

Are we closing in on the end times? The June 2025 Israel-Iran conflict shouts "maybe" but not "definitely." The Antichrist's identity remains hidden—possibly a Turkish leader (35%), UAE technocrat (25%), EU figure (20%), or tech mogul (15%). We can't confirm his presence yet.

But here's what I know: the stage is being set. Geopolitical tensions, technological capabilities, and biblical patterns are converging like never before. We're not in the end times, but we can see them from here.

Stay rooted in Scripture. Stay connected to Christ. Stay ready to give an answer for the hope within you. Because whether He comes tomorrow or in a thousand years, our calling remains the same: to be faithful witnesses until He returns.

Remember, we're not trying to be Stuart Smalley looking in the mirror for self-affirmation. We're children of the King, bearing witness to His coming Kingdom. That's not just good enough—that's glorious.

The False Prophet: Who is he? Could he be here now?

In Revelation, we meet a figure who makes my spirit grieved every time I read about him. The False Prophet—a beast rising from the earth with "two horns like a lamb" but speaking "like a dragon." That image haunts me. Something that looks innocent, even Christ-like, but speaks with the voice of the ancient serpent.

His job? To prop up the Antichrist, perform lying wonders, and drag souls to destruction through deception. He'll establish an image of the beast, enforce the mark, and control who can buy or sell. It's spiritual abuse on a global scale.

Which brings me to something that's been troubling my heart since May 6, 2025.

A Wolf in Shepherd's Clothing

Charisma News published an interview that day with Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq. Let that name sink in. A U.S.-born, Arabic-speaking convert who claims to be the Mahdi—Islam's messiah figure. But he doesn't stop there. Oh no. He positions himself as a "messenger from Jesus" and a unifier of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

"I am sent forward as a bridge between the nations." - Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq

When I read his words, something in my spirit recoiled. Not with hatred—with grief. Here's why:

He claims divine authority that belongs to Christ alone. "The Holy Spirit is veiled behind me," he says. My heart breaks at such blasphemy. The Holy Spirit doesn't hide behind anyone—He dwells within believers, pointing always to Jesus (John 14:26). This man demands the very worship that belongs to our Lord.

He denies the heart of the Gospel. No original sin, he says. Jesus didn't really die—His spirit "escaped" and an angel was crucified instead. Do you see what he's doing? He's gutting Christianity while wearing its clothes. Paul warned us: without the resurrection, our faith is futile (1 Corinthians 15:14). This man knows exactly which pillars to knock down.

He builds bridges to nowhere. A "bridge between religions" sounds noble, doesn't it? He even supports rebuilding the Third Temple. But listen closer—he redefines it as his own authority. This isn't unity; it's absorption. It's preparing hearts to accept the "abomination of desolation" (Matthew 24:15).

He traffics in the supernatural. UFOs as "angels, demons, or jinn." Modern Nephilim activity. These aren't the ramblings of a madman—they're calculated "lying wonders" (2 Thessalonians 2:9). He's preparing people to accept the miraculous when it comes from the wrong source.

He preaches a technological gospel. A "new world order," a "global caliphate" ruled with "justice and equity," spread through digital platforms. Sound familiar? It's the one-world system of Revelation 13, dressed up in modern clothes.

Is This THE False Prophet?

I'll be honest—I don't know. And that's what makes this so unsettling.

He hasn't called down fire from heaven (Revelation 13:13). There's no clear political-military Antichrist figure he's partnering with. History is littered with false messiahs who came and went.

But here's what keeps me up at night: he's showing us the blueprint. Even if he's not THE False Prophet, he's cut from the same cloth. He's a dress rehearsal for the main event. A warning of what's coming.

Why This Matters Now

This figure isn't emerging in a vacuum. He's surfacing at the exact moment when:

  • People are desperate for interfaith unity
  • Supernatural explanations for UAPs are gaining mainstream acceptance
  • Technology can amplify deception globally in seconds
  • Biblical literacy is at an all-time low
  • The groundwork for the Third Temple is being laid

He's priming the pump. Getting people comfortable with the idea that Jesus was just one messenger among many. That miracles can come from any source. That global unity matters more than Gospel truth.

A Call to Spiritual Arms

Brothers and sisters, this interview isn't just disturbing—it's a wake-up call. Jesus warned us: "False christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect" (Matthew 24:24).

"If possible." Those two words give me hope. It means we CAN resist. We CAN stand firm. But only if we're anchored in truth.

So what do we do?

Test every spirit (1 John 4:1-3). Does it confess Jesus Christ came in the flesh? Does it submit to Scripture? Does it point to the cross or away from it?

Reject syncretism absolutely. There's no bridge between Christ and Belial. No fellowship between light and darkness. The Gospel doesn't need improving or unifying—it needs proclaiming.

Get back to your Bible. Not just reading—studying. Not just knowing about it—knowing it by heart. When deception comes dressed in religious language, only Scripture can expose it.

Watch and pray. This man may not be THE False Prophet, but he's showing us the playbook. The dress rehearsal is happening now. How long until opening night?

The Hard Truth

Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq troubles me not because he's obviously evil—but because he's not. He speaks of peace, unity, and divine purpose. He quotes Scripture (twisted, but quoted). He performs what followers call miracles. He offers hope to a desperate world.

That's exactly what makes him dangerous. And that's exactly what the real False Prophet will do, only better.

We want to believe that when the False Prophet comes, he'll be obviously evil. That we'll spot him a mile away. But evil rarely announces itself. It comes as an angel of light, speaking words of hope, performing signs that amaze, offering unity that feels like love.

The interview from May 6, 2025, isn't just news—it's a preview. A warning. A call to get serious about our faith before the main event begins.

Because if this is the warm-up act, what will the real show look like?

Stay vigilant. Stay in the Word. Stay close to the real Jesus—the One who died, was buried, and rose again. Accept no substitutes, no matter how appealing they seem.

The end times may be nearer than we think. Lord, give us eyes to see and hearts to stand firm.

Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Thank you, Cabot! I'm learning right alongside you. None of us have all the pieces, but together we can help each other stay alert and anchored in Christ. That's what the body of believers is all about, isn't it? Iron sharpening iron as we wait for His return. Keep your lamp trimmed and burning bright!
